A native Los Angeleno, Jerome Konell graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles and then Cardozo School of Law in New York City. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1990. After graduating law school, Mr. Konell worked for law firms representing most major personal lines insurance carriers for the first 15 years of his legal career. There, he litigated hundreds of cases on the defense side, many through trial. In the past 14 years, he has primarily represented plaintiffs in personal injury claims, including automobile accidents, premises liability, dog attacks/bites, medical negligence/malpractice and products liability. Some past cases include actions against major amusement parks, the City of Los Angeles (and other municipalities), pharmaceutical manufactures and automobile manufacturers. In his spare time, Mr. Konell enjoys spending time with his friends and family, travel, wine, the arts, hiking, biking and his dog Lucca.
